I was thrilled when in 2003, one of President Clinton’s staff members went to Joe Adams of the America Oh Yes gallery in Hilton Head looking for Elvis related art for the permanent collection of the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Arkansas and they carried away my painting “Bill and Elvis”.

In the summer of 2004, I completed a portrait of writer and NPR commentator Andrei Codrescu, entitled “The Devil and Andrei Codrescu” and was delighted to hear that it graces the walls of his home in Baton Rouge, LA.

In 2005, I was contacted by Giorgio Ubaldi, a choir director in Milan, Italy about using my artwork for a CD. Working with the Milan Jazz choir, Giorgio recorded gospel music by the African American composer, Robert Ray. My painting ”Gospel Music Make Me Fly“ was not only used for the cover but became the name of the CD as well. If you would like to order this CD you can contact Giorgio at his email giogioubaldi@tele2.it.

What am I working on now? More paintings, furniture and a series of small sculptures which I hope to feature here on my website.

If you are interested in finding out about my work with children’s murals in the Artist in Residency program with The Maryland State Arts Council, you can find contact information in the Links Secton.

If you decide to visit my studio in Baltimore, this is what you might see in my showroom. Because it is a working studio, it is by appointment only.
